TBC welcomes students from all over the world!

Applicants for TBC's Intern in China programs should :
Be 20 years of age by the start of the internship program Be 20 years of age by the start of the internship program

TBC's Intern in China Application Deadlines

TBC admits students on a rolling basis. You are encouraged to apply in advance in order to secure a place in the program and start the internship process early.

TBC must receive your completed application by the deadline

Summer Internship Session April 1
Fall Internship Semester May 1
Spring Internship Semester October 15


Applying to intern in China through TBC is quick and easy!

1 Submit your application online on time

Complete your application online. It does not have to be completed all at once, but do be sure to submit it before the deadline. If you get stuck, we are happy to help.

You will need a digital copy of your resume/cv before your application can be reviewed.

2 Application Review

Your application will be reviewed. You will be contacted directly if there are any issues with your application.

3 Meet with TBC's Internship Coordinator

Following the application review, we will contact you to arrange a time for you to have your initial Advisory Session interview. Following the interview, you will receive an admission decision. Once accepted, you will receive an email with your ‘Intent to Enroll’ form. This is the form you will complete to commit to participating in the internship program, and at this point you will pay 50% of the program fee.

4 Interview potential placements

You will have phone or video interviews with potential internship placements to discuss their internships and your candidacy.

5 Accept Placement Offer, Get ready to come to China

Congratulations! You’ve been offered a placement with one or more of the organizations you applied to. We are sure that you have questions- from getting your visa to answering picking out your housing, we have compiled the resources to ensure that you have the smoothest possible transition to your life in China.
