Selecting Levels of Chinese Language Courses (Fall and Spring)

This course extends students’ knowledge of Chinese vocabulary and grammar and improves their skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students are placed into levels from beginner to advanced and attend around 15 hours of Chinese language studies per week, alongside MUC’s international students.

Engaging China: Silk Road Excursion (Fall)

Course code: TBC 1100

3 CREDITS

Silk Road Excursion is to familiarize the student with the geography and history of the Qin through Qing Dynasties of China. Upon the conclusion of this course, students will have a broad understanding of the history, culture, and current situation of the societies and places in Western China and Central Asia.

Engaging China: Yunnan Excursion (Spring)

Course code: TBC 1101

3 CREDITS

The purpose of the Yunnan Excursion is to afford the student an in-depth experience of the ethnological background of the southern border regions of China. At the same time the excursion provides a general survey of the history and culture of Yunnan.
