Our Team

Queenie He is Director of Global Engagement and Strategic Programs at The Beijing Center, playing a pivotal role in TBC’s mission to provide unparalleled education about China. She oversees TBC’s Study Abroad Program and Retreat® program, is responsible for relations with partner institutions, and oversees Title IX matters. She also leads the TBC student experience, from orientation and acculturation to the Chinese Roommate and Tutor programs, co-curricular activities, weekend excursions, and cultural excursions.

With 10 years of experience in higher education, Queenie’s interests include intercultural communication, student development, and educational policy. She sees her work as part of the tradition of Matteo Ricci and Xu Guangqi (徐光启): mutual understanding built through everyday encounters.

Outside of work, Queenie enjoys singing, traveling, and photography. She loves exploring new places with her camera and often unwinds with karaoke.
