What makes up a TBC Virtual Internship? TBC does not intend to substitute a face-to-face internship experience, but rather to provide you with a practical, professional, and academic experience, that will allow you to achieve your desired skills and goals, with many of the same benefits as a traditional internship – and more! As a TBC virtual intern, you will have the opportunity to intern for Chinese or international companies in a variety of fields, such as business, marketing, sales, communications, etc. You will build dynamic skills that will allow you to remain competitive in the current globalized job market. No prior Chinese language necessary! In addition to Virtual internships, you can also choose to Intern Abroad in China for a semester or summer.

Applying for a virtual internship through TBC is quick and easy!
Complete your application online. It does not have to be completed all at once, but do be sure to submit it before the deadline. If you get stuck, we are happy to help. You will need a digital copy of your resume/cv and transcript before your application can be reviewed. $95 Application Fee Apply online
Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed and you will be contacted if there are any problems with your application.
Meet with TBC’s Internship Coordinator. Following the application review, we will contact you to arrange a time for you to have your initial Consultation Session to discuss your career goals. Following the interview, your Internship Coordinator will inform you on internship matches based on your profile, and will advise you on how to move forward in directly applying and interviewing for the internship positions. Once accepted for an internship, you will receive an email with your ‘Intent to Enroll’ form. This is the form you will complete to commit to participating in the internship program, and at this point you will pay 50% of the program fee.
Accept Placement Offer, Get ready to start your virtual internship. Congratulations! You’ve been offered a placement with one or more of the organizations you applied to. Once you accept an internship offer, you will be placed in the TBC Internship class. We are sure that you will have questions on aspects such as time and project management, for this reason, regular meetings and check-ins with your Internship Coordinator have been arranged throughout the duration of the program.
