There are an increasing amount of Chinese students attending John Carroll University and faculty has found that they are having some difficulty connecting with these students and incorporating them into the university community. Additionally, the faculty would also like to encourage more students to study abroad in China, and want to explore the possibilities available for their students.

Company visits were created to give faculty a chance to experience the business opportunities for their students when studying or interning in China.
Faculty members felt that they left with a greater understanding of the pressure that Chinese high school students face and an understanding of the mindset that Chinese students have when they enter university. They have also sent two study abroad students to TBC since their visit.
