Brock joined The Beijing Center in 2016, bringing ten years of progressively responsible experience in international higher education, primarily in education abroad. He is interested working with underrepresented students, supporting critical language learning initiatives, advising for national scholarships, and creatively collaborating with U.S. universities to create new and innovative educational opportunities abroad for students, staff, and faculty. Outside of work, Brock enjoys exploring Milwaukee by bike, and planning both domestic and international trips with his wife.
Elaine joined The Beijing Center in January of 2017 as the Assistant Director of University Relations and Recruitment. A TBC alumna, Elaine discovered a passion for international education while living and working in China after she completed her bachelor’s degree. Now, with more than 5 years of experience in higher education, Elaine works with partner universities around the country to promote TBC programs and prepare students for a life changing study abroad experience at The Beijing Center. Outside of work, Elaine enjoys sports and stays active with martial arts, yoga, and rock climbing. She also loves photography, travel and a good book.
